The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be streamed live on Netflix.
Briton Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the two fighters met personally to build hype for next month's bout.
Former twice unified boxing king Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive mismatch - at Miami's arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I plan to injure his face and break his body up. My goal is to show my superiority," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to seriously aim to injure him. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
Despite these statements, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically famous for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather targeted ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, criticized British rival Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.
Paul's Background
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
Still, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, consistently making substantial financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would prevent the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly in the works for 2026.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Size Disparity
As both boxers engaged in the traditional face-off, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it highlighted just how surprising this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the bout is truly proceeding.
